WHO WE SERVE
How to know if you are eligible for Residential services
APD services those in the Sunshine State living with Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, People severely impaired by autism, Down Syndrome, Intellectual disabilities, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Phelan-McDermid Syndrome, and Children ages 3-5 who are at high risk for developing disability.
In order to be eligible for APD services, the onset of the disability must have occurred prior to the age of 18 and must constitute a substantial handicap that is likely to be permanent. During the application process, proof of a developmental disability diagnosis will be required. The APD may require an assessment to determine the specific services that are needed. Applicants will also need to submit proof of Florida residency.
